Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have mid-to-senior-level expertise in institutional financial services and a proven record of selling data and SaaS solutions to the capital markets audience.
Responsibilities
Manage and grow an assigned territory focused on North America (East Coast).
Prospect and develop new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships.
Present the value of data-driven solutions for risk management and portfolio construction to hedge funds and asset managers.
Leverage extensive knowledge in risk management, portfolio construction and modeling use cases to drive client engagement.
Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions to client needs and close deals effectively.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in financial services sales, particularly to institutional capital markets.
Proven ability to sell enterprise data solutions, SaaS products, and/or front office user products.
Strong understanding of risk management and portfolio analytics platforms including Axioma, MSCI, or Bloomberg Port.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts across multiple stakeholders in a selling opportunity.
Self-motivated with a track record of exceeding revenue targets.
Strong consideration for candidates who can successfully demonstrate previous sales training from courses like SPIN, Korn Ferry, Sandler, Challenger, etc.
