Career Coaching & Introductory Services

Invest in yourself and take aggressive and proactive control of your career.  

What you will receive as B&S’s career-advice-client:

• A 30-minute pro bono discovery call so we can decide if this program will be useful to you.

• If you agree to enroll in the program, a 30-minute planning meeting, weekly 15-minute coaching/update calls* scheduled at the beginning of the engagement and, initially, 4.5 hours of my effort to introduce you to a minimum of 5 firms or individuals we agree upon.*  After one month, we will evaluate progress and consider continuing the process for 5 hours in each subsequent month.

• Initial introductions will be via customized emails whose purpose is  either job interviews (if an appropriate job exists) or for in-person, phone or video “informational interviews.”

Informational interviews will help you get advice about how to optimize your market appeal by:

1. leveraging your achievements in your current lane (i.e., your current specialization), 

2. bolting onto your current lane synergistic areas outside your current lane, 

3. brainstorming on completely new lanes you can pursue and 

4. learning more about what you know you don’t know or trying to identify what you don’t know you don’t know about a career area or position.

B&S may listen in on informational interviews.

Note:  It is possible that despite maximum effort to introduce you no interviews will result.  B&S doesn’t have control over this.  B&S will be disappointed if this happens.

• My unwavering commitment to fiercely support and be an evangelist for you

• A real-time spreadsheet of introductory efforts and results that can be used to continue your efforts when the engagement is completed.

Your responsibilities:

• Be willing to be mentored. Commit to making this your #1 priority during each monthly engagement.

• Don't hold back. Communicate openly and honestly with B&S.

• Approach creative ideas identified with a “will-make-it happen” attitude.

• Remember your commitment to yourself. Stick with it.

• Send opportunities in which you are interested and would like B&S to qualify and attempt to introduce you to.

Hourly billing rate of $300 per hour

* These times are approximate and actual times will be used to calculate payments.  These times can also be used for improving your resume (i.e., using the STAR method), interview coaching, using LinkedIn as a research tool, etc.
